Student Life at EHHI
From the lecture hall to the field — our students are trained to lead, serve, and innovate in health and agriculture. A community of over 500 learners from across Cameroon and beyond.
Students in numbers
EHHI is home to a growing community of future health and agriculture leaders. Here is a snapshot of our reach and impact.
Life at EHHI
Hands-on training, cultural celebration, and community service — all part of the EHHI student journey. Our students are not just learners; they are active contributors to the communities we serve.
Matriculation and Pledge
New nursing students take the Florence Nightingale pledge by lamplight, continuing a tradition of compassion, service, and professional commitment that dates back to the founding of modern nursing.
Practical Agriculture
Students work on the EHHI teaching fish farm, model gardens, and community co-operatives. They learn sustainable farming techniques that address food insecurity and malnutrition in rural communities.
Cultural Day Celebration
An annual event where students showcase their diverse heritage through traditional dances, fashion, and cuisine. It is a vibrant expression of unity and pride in Cameroon's cultural richness.
Clinical Rotations
Students gain real-world experience at EHFAF Medical Center, community clinics, and during outreach campaigns. They work alongside experienced practitioners, treating patients and managing public health programmes.
Research and Defence
Degree candidates in Nursing and Agricultural Production Technology conduct original research and defend their projects before a panel. This milestone marks their transition from student to professional.
Community Outreach
Hundreds of youths have been trained in first aid, vaccination drives, and health campaigns. Students give back to their communities by organising free health screenings and educational workshops.

Thanks to EHHI I can write a lot about sepsis and other critical conditions. The curriculum is rigorous and relevant. We are not just taught theory; we are trained to think and act.
I am there live. It is an overflow of knowledge here. Thank you EHFA Foundation-EHHI for creating such a conducive learning environment. I am proud to be part of this institution.
A beautiful place to be and build a better future. The agriculture programme has opened my eyes to the potential of sustainable farming. I am excited to contribute to food security.
